Introduction
The Department of Economics was established in Arts, Commerce & Science College, Ravalgaon in the year 2009. Economics as a General subject for B.A. and B. Com. was introduced in the year 2009 and Special Subject for B.A. was introduced in the year 2021. The department believes in teaching economic theory and applying it to the day to day issues to understand the intricacies of economic life. We effectively and comprehensively introduce students to basic concepts, theories and evolution of economics. We focus on enabling the students to apply the theoretical tools of economics to real life situations and introducing them to latest developments and new approaches in the field of economics.
