The Taj Mahal is an iconic white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It is widely considered one of the most beautiful and renowned architectural wonders in the world. Built between 1632 and 1648 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Giza Pyramids, built to endure an eternity, have done just that. The monumental tombs are relics of Egypt's Old Kingdom era and were constructed some 4,500 years ago. Egypt's pharaohs expected to become gods in the afterlife.
