About Department
The department of chemistry is one of the largest department of SSSVPM’s ACS College Ravalgaon, Tal. Malegaon, established in 2014. Recently in 2021, department has started post graduate course M.Sc. with specialization in Organic chemistry and in 2024 M.Sc. with specialization in Analytical chemistry considering the needs of industries, academia & research organizations. The department has six faculty members with NET/SET qualification. The student strength of the department including UG & PG is near about 350 per academic year.
The department has four well-equipped laboratories to conduct physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry & analytical chemistry practicals with all required chemicals, apparatus & instruments.
